Supporting Low-Resourced Cameroonian and African Languages

This app initiates dynamic, participatory development of language solutions, focusing on collaboration with communities, tech experts, and local stakeholders. By gathering diverse linguistic data, we lay the groundwork for AI to serve not just major languages but also those traditionally overlooked, such as low-resourced languages. This inclusivity is essential for true tech inclusion and reflects a broader strategy of globalization that respects and incorporates linguistic diversity. 

It prioritizes active community involvement in data collection, integrating diverse local insights to advance relevant, impactful technologies across the continent, targeting NGOs, local governments, and tech developers.

The App is now available and collecting data. Please get in touch with us if you would like to use it to work on your data collection projet for Text-to-Text, or text-to-speech or any combination of input. The app is free to use but you need our help extracting the data collected and providing them to you, at no cost for low-ressources languages.
